Modular IT is built specifically for legal and financial SMBs with 5–250 users who are subject to SRA, FCA, GDPR, or Cyber Essentials obligations. If your firm relies on Microsoft 365 and needs reliable, compliant IT support from a provider who understands your sector, we’re a strong fit. We offer a free, no-obligation IT audit to help you understand whether our service is right for you before committing.

All new clients go through a structured 4-phase onboarding over approximately 8 weeks: Phase 1 is a full tenant audit and gap assessment (weeks 1–2), Phase 2 is remediation and baseline deployment (weeks 2–4), Phase 3 is Intune device enrolment (weeks 3–6), and Phase 4 is handover and go-live (weeks 5–8). A dedicated onboarding engineer leads the process and agrees a project plan with you at the start.

Microsoft 365 licence costs are not included in our management fee — they are invoiced separately through our Microsoft CSP (Cloud Solution Provider) programme at cost. This means you always pay the correct Microsoft rate with no hidden markup. We handle all licence management, renewals, and assignments on your behalf.

We embed SRA and FCA requirements directly into your IT configuration — not as an afterthought. For law firms, this includes SRA Code of Conduct-aligned data governance, secure matter file storage, and user access controls. For FCA-regulated firms, we align to FCA SYSC requirements including access controls, audit trails, and record-keeping for regulated communications. Our Enterprise tier includes full ISO 27001 Annex A control documentation and Cyber Essentials Plus certification support.

The Foundations plan (£18/user) covers core M365 management, security basics, and helpdesk support via email. The Professional plan (£32/user) adds full Intune device management, Conditional Access, DLP policies, Teams governance, and a faster response SLA with phone support — it’s our most popular and suits most regulated firms. The Enterprise plan (£52/user) adds 24/7 support with a 30-minute P1 SLA, Microsoft Purview, Privileged Identity Management, custom compliance configurations, Cyber Essentials Plus, and a dedicated account manager.

Our pricing is per user, per month — billed monthly in arrears. All plans require a minimum of 5 users and a 12-month initial contract. There are no per-incident charges, no call-out fees, and no hidden costs. M365 licences are invoiced separately at cost via our CSP programme. Volume discounts are available for firms with 50 or more users. All prices exclude VAT.
